Party

We had a Strawberry Shortcake party for Ella a few weekends ago! She had so much fun with some of her little friends. You can click on any of the pics to see them larger. Thanks Christy for taking pics again!

We thought the weather was going to be bad, but it turned out beautiful. So at the last minute we rented a bouncy house! Best decision ever! The kids had a blast and burned off tons of energy! It is Ella's favorite thing to do.

Madness

Kelsey and I LOVE March Madness! I'm pretty competitive when it comes to my bracket... I hate seeing red marks through it! Let the fun begin! Rock Chalk!!! Kelsey is the true die hard fan... he picks them to win every year... I knocked them out in the Elite 8, don't tell him=)

Four

Miss Ella Noelle turned 4 yesterday!! We are so thankful every year that we get to celebrate our beautiful, precious girl. I would say that my conversations with her make me feel like she is so much older, but the tantrums and attitude are right on track! She is so smart, and feels every emotion fiercely. I feel overwhelmed when faced with the task of raising her to her potential, because to me, her potential seems endless. I feel like whatever she chooses to pursue, she will excel. I want to lift her up and support her to become an amazing woman of God who will do great things for Him, and have a heart for others. Only through God's power, not my own!
Here is my beautiful birthday girl:

We went to Red Robin for dinner that night. Aunt Christy met us there with a special crown for the birthday princess and some balloons!! Ella felt so special and looked so adorable in her crown!
The whole reason we went to Red Robin was because Ella loves the big red bird. Well, he's only there on the weekend. Disappointment, but she got some ice cream so she was happy!
When we got home, she got to open her present from us. A blue scooter... just what she asked for! She loved it!

Rock Chalk!!

Kelsey, Ella and her Grandpa got to go to a KU game over the weekend! Mommy was bummed to miss it! Ella was SO excited. We had promised her at Christmas, and she didn't let more than a few days go by without reminding us.
So excited, didn't even mind the long car ride:
Dinner at Old McDonalds:
At the game:
It was so loud for her! I tried to find earmuffs, but couldn't.
The game started at 8:00 p.m., so towards the end she was getting tired. She fell asleep in the car on the way home around 11:30.
Such sweet memories made!! Daddy has his little Jayhawk fan and we couldn't be prouder!
